Born and raised in Augusta, Dr. Fatteh attended the University of Georgia and completed his medical school and residency training in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He then pursued fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. After practicing in southeast Michigan for two years, Dr. Fatteh and his wife moved back home to Augusta, where he has been serving patients since 2015. Their family has since grown to five, and there is never a dull moment.

Dr. Fatteh loves his work in ophthalmology, loves improving patients’ vision through cataract surgery and lasers, and he particularly enjoys chatting with his patients. He takes time to try to explain eye issues to patients in a way the patient can understand.
